I already stepped into the 8th month of living in Tumasik. Many people included my family, they notice I am very much happier compare to the past. Yes! This is true. I don't wake up with the thought of want to resign, I don't scare of getting out of the car in the morning, I am not frighten when I getting out from the lift after lunch, I don't cry on the way back home.. My past has shaped today's me. I always feel thankful to my previous bosses, they have given me the courage to be here.

I always practice my ex-boss's philosophy, I wish to share it here:

Love yourself. Work for yourself, not others.
People don't give respect because of your position.
You are stupid if you say no the money which is belong to you.
Helping others is a way to help yourself.
Live to work, work to live. Love your work.
Put in your heart in everything you do.
Put on a different hat when it is needed.
Do not always carry the ball, people will come to you.
Know your boss well.
The world do not stop because of you.
Do not see things through the keyhole
Fairness will eventually come.

I do not get the right meaning until I left the company. I always remember what they had taught me.

New chapter

Yes! Today I marked my 1st month with my new company. I just on the line with my family for more that half an hour and share with my sister that I am happy with the things happen around me. I had a very tough (I considered it is tough) moment in previous company but whenever I flash back, all of that are tasted sweet. It has build a very strong foundation for me. I will never forget whoever help and guide me along the way, my friends who concern about me and most important is my family who always there for me. There are no way for me to hide my gratitude, so I always love to express it out.

I guess I still owe some friends an answer on how moved to the Lion City so sudden. All these happened was because I have a big-networking sister. She has a friend working in my current company and she help to forward my resume to HR last year. One year later, the company call me and God blessed, my current boss would like to give me an opportunity to explore further in the company. This is how I begin my new chapter in SG. I realize this quote is true: Do your best, the God will take care of the rest.

Jessy is the 1st one to visit me.. I will become a tour guide again. :)

I am leaving to Singapore next Sunday. The feeling when I knew I have to go Katdah to pursue my study is back. But this time the heart is feeling heavier, as I am there to earn a living. If you couldn't perform, you couldn't survive. My heart is fulfilled with anxiety and curiosity.

This was the 3rd time I tendered my resignation. I can feel the disappointment not only from my boss, but also my colleagues as well. Don't misunderstand me, I don't mean I am so important to my division. They might think I am just started to pick-up my role and so soon I decided to leave. My boss even share with me on her restructuring plan in near future. But, I know my objective, the best way to open one's eyes is to experience it yourself.

I had a ~~tough~~ memorable time in ALZ. This song is dedicated to Laurent, Ms. Kim, Ms. Karen and all my team members.

I have long long time never record down what are the things make my life become so interesting. I feel grateful on what had happened to me. My life is a bit abnormal compare to the others. I am 1 year late compare to the batch of people born in 1985. But things are going well around me, I own good friends, I got "good" results, I am working in a company which surrounded by 'geng' people. Don't put all the focus on the unfortunate things happen, appreciate what is happening..

The first thing of cause was my graduation day. I did not have the hard copy of picture when I was on the stage, I store it permanently with myself.

I guess I need to record down what had happened to me in the past 2 weeks.

5, Oct. The day after I was back from Katdah, I suppose to be on leave. But I went to office in the evening. Before that, in the afternoon, I discussed with my parents about I want to resign from my job. This time I am so serious with it. Their strongly object on my decision. I claimed that they will never understand my feeling when I am handling my tasks. When I started my first sentence in the letter, the tears rolling non-stop. Started the car's engine and headed to Jalan Pinang.
That day, the desire to resign was so strong. I felt that I want to leave the industry, I am not suitable to work in management line, I am valueless for the company.. Back to my own cubicle, everyone was so surprise why I go back to the office. While people was getting lesser, I entered his cubicle, chat with him for a while because 3 days he have no chance to 'comment' on me. Then when I passed him the letter, he said: No turning back. Then I left.
Cried in the toilet and along the way I go to get the car.

6 Oct. I went to the office as usual. Because he has not tell me what is my last day. Then he said I need to work for another 3 weeks, and I felt that was so torturing, after minus my leave, i need to work until 16 Oct.

In the past 10 days, I do not dare to announce that I am jobless in my blog. Whoever know that I have resigned, they gave me the same reaction, except one!
Even my brother think that I made a very stupid move. My sister is the one always beside me, tell and remind me what I cannot see or realise. I do not dare to tell me best friend I tendered the letter, I never tell my grandma I am unemployed, I seldom mentioned my working stories to my friends, because there are no more interesting stories.

The feeling of losing a job is suffering. In the 10 days, I realised I am so useless. I am not that tough as I think. Read through those successful people experience, compare to them, I am just a peanut. Friends are beside me to encourage and remind me what is my goal that I set during the time I just joined insurance industry. I looked back on what I want to achieve which I wrote in my notebook, I feel very bad, I thought I will never have a chance again.

15 Oct, I went to see a senior manager, he is from UUM too. I wanted to thank him and say bye bye to him. Throughout the conversation, he asked me to consider again to work in the company, he will help me to talk to my boss and he taught me when talking to people have to be FAST, F___, FIRM and FAIR. The last one I forgot already. He also taught me the way to talk to people, challenge them in a nice way! All these can learn through from the experience.

16 Oct, morning, I went to see the senior manager again. I told him if I could granted a second chance, I will really appreciate it and he promised to talk to my boss. Today's morning was the day to determine where I will go.
My boss called my name, he asked..
He: What do you wan now??!
me: (my heart: I wanted to stay) Do I have a choice! Of cos to get a new job.
He: You wan to stay or leave??! Do you know that your action is so immature! How people will view on you!!
me: I do not have any value here.
He: You need to gain it!! It won't come by itself!!
me: I don't wan to delay your work progress.
He: You work for youself, not others!!
He: What do u want now!!
me: You willing to giv me another chance?
He: You giv to yourself, is this really wat you want??!
He: Did I say I have 'fond hei' on you!!!!
me: I want to stay.

Even though, this incident has scratched on my record in the company. But I feel good, because at last I got to know how important the job for me. If I want to realise my dreams, I need to be in the position. I will work harder because I got it back from the lost. There is no more resign on my mind.
For the friends out there, nothing is easy! my boss always say: Fairness will eventually come.

From today on, I might laugh lesser compare to the past few weeks I used to be.
Time to be serious in the game, play our characters well. Every character play a different role in the game although they are from a same team. Each of us is so important.

my Boss, the Centurion and the Executive

A~hemzz... Let me introduce, start from the left; He is the one I always mentioned> my Bossi! No matter where I go in the future, what kind of a person I will be... I will never forget him. He is the one who invests at least 1 hour on me everyday, who hopes that I can be someone in the future, who gives a lot efforts on me after my family, who hold his tears when giving my lesson..
He is the one affects my life the most since I moved to the Society University. Even though, I keeping complaining about the way he treats me, I can't deny that I am the one who makes him so frustrated. I admit that sometimes I loss my manners in front of him, but he never give up to bring me to the next level. I don't know when he will get tired of all this, so am I...
I never expect I will meet such a capable person in my first career, he is teaching me about life and not only about work. He is my 'lecturer' in my current uni. Everyday he is 'slapping' on me, wants me to realize the actual world. I felt that I am so lucky than wining the 4D.
I never express my gratitude towards him, because I am waiting the day I can follow his steps to come..

Next one, the center one: Centurion, the agent! She is the one who brings me jokes when I am in my cubicle, shared with me on the product knowledge, teaches me bad words.. and always remind me the importance of insurance..
Before we met each other, from the phone I knew that she is a playful person and I am a very playful person. Maybe that makes us can click to each other. After the Genting meeting, we got to know we are actually from the same primary school, wow~ This has explained why we can be friend than just colleague, because we were educated by the same way. She promised me when she get married, for sure she will invite me, I jot down here as a prove.
One more thing she promised during our past meeting in Genting is.. she will carry her own 'band(some recognitions)' in the next meeting and take pictures with me. I am confident that she will deliver her promises.

1st meeting in genting

I'm still in Genting now. First time joining such Awards Night. This trip really helped me a lot on clearing all the doubts. My boss is that kind don't want to disclose everything to me.
He: Go to find it out by yourself.
This is the answer I always got from him. We had 3 days 2 night here. The 1st day was actually a meeting will all managers. My boss wanted me to sit in and listen how people carry out then I need to prepare a few slides to my boss for his presentation. Wednesday, I slept at Thursday 430am, woke up at 530 am, go to office at 630am, left office to Genting at 1030am, at last sleep at 1230am on Friday morning. I only sleep for 1 hour for that day, chicken essence help me to stay alive for the whole day.
The meeting was good, I clearer know what is my job scope actually. All is about figures! Things are getting tougher, I am no longer new in the company, I cannot tell people I am still new. I finally found out that why my boss he always demands so many things from me, no mistake, accuracy with presentable. We do it, not just the sick of doing it. Must achieve the purpose and bring some impact to the other people. In the past 3 months, whatever I don't know what is all that about, why am I sending so many reports to people. Now I knew it. Business Analysis is very important in my role.

Whatever we do, we need to have a very strong base, we can last longer and stand stronger. If the focus just on the surface, the ice berg will eventually floating around. Floating with no direction because it is controlled by the seawater and winds. To build the base, it takes times and efforts.
Many things are not as easy as the surface. You will never know how depth is the ice berg under the water. It might be huge, it might be none. Sometimes your eye doesn't tell you the truth.
For those who are working, start building your base. You control where you want to go.

Today is Thursday, tomorrow is Friday. Today is my second happy day, tomorrow is my most happy day!

I want to share my working life. The person I deal with the most of cause is my manager. He is still like usual, love to 'put money into my pocket'. Our record is we talk up to 3 hours a day, not in 1 shot, he make it in 3 slots. I can't smile in front of him. He will say..
He: Why are you smiling? You think it is so funny?
He: The F1 champion only happy for 1 minute, after that, they will need to start all over again to prepare for the next race. Then why are you so happy?

One day, my sister's friend called me. She told me some good news.. Then my face was hanging a ")" to see him. I enter his partition to show him something..
He: Why are you so happy?
me: Please.. I am happy is because of my personal stuff. Nothing to do with the work I want to show you.
He: Then you show a wrong expression to me.
me: Maybe you do not know how to read my expression.
So, I tell myself, I don't want to smile and joke in front of him.
And, you will never know how many times he made me hold my tears on my eyelids and eventually I swallow it.

Some funny thing is I got to know an agent. She is super funny. I told her that she is my only entertainment in my work...

she: how many cases have approved so far?
me: 100+++
she: oh my god!!!!!!!!!!
me: that is plus the last year issuance.

she: What is the latest result?
me: 60..... (she need to get 60 for a contest)
she: really??!!!!!!!
me: minus one.

she: i know i know.. I even know which cubicle.

I am still keeping a distance with the colleagues.

just to share with you my own thinking and experiences after joining the working society for quite sometimes, perhaps 3 years back? for me, i only aim for figure which is salary, i work for money, with money, i gain interest from it but for most of the ppl, they think the other way round, they work in which field that they're interested in, with their interest in this field, they work longer and gain experience and sooner their value will be higher and higher and only then they gain money .. i remember a sentence very clearly and still very fresh in my mind although he told me this sentence for about 2 years ago, when you feel like taking EL or MC once you woke up from your bed, you can start to think of resigning and look for other job .. i think my comment is way too long, i should stop at here .. u know that i like to blog but i have no time, so i spend some time typing at here .. hehe .. sorry =) last but not least, it's just the way you think, how do you define sadness? for me, sadness is the new beginning of happiness, same goes to unlucky thing, once everything touches the most bad luck line, it will bounces up and thing will get better =) -End-

I have just gone through something which will be faced by the people who are working. But I just never though that come so fast..

Last week, I keep receiving miss call. It wasn't people playing with my numbers. When I am working, I keep my handphone in my drawer(cause I am too concentrate with my job.ha)!. Last Friday, finally I picked up a unknown number, I took out my phone because I worry agents want to call me.

me: Harlo??!!!
he: Is this M__ C____?
me: (thinking: Call my name, definitely not agent) Yes, speaking!
he: I am calling from .....bla bla bla....

Today before I left the office. I catched my manager. I told him I have something very serious to talk to him. You will never know how tension I am when I am in the office. How much pressure I receive from my manager.
My heart beats fast, I got no time to drink water, no time for toilet, no time to chat with my colleagues, skip dinner, my time pass very fast in the office.. The worst is, my tears can't roll from my eyes, it goes back to my stomach. Sleep for me is so important, during the past 1 month, I hardly sleep at night, I don't have this problem when I was having exam. The solution is I took out my product specs to read, then I zzZZzz. But this method only works for 2 times.
I share with him there are company headhunt me. I want to know my value for him and for the company. If there are people appreciate you, but the present don't, no point to stay there.
I am satisfy with the answer that he gave me. He always say..

he: I am grilling you..
he: Please think out of the box!!!
he: make the world spin faster, not slower.!
he: You never learn this in school meh!!!

Cut it short. Tomorrow is my 1 month anniversary, even my boss remembered that. Today is a historical day for me too.. because he never 'give me a lesson' today due to he is too busy with his works. And and and....I submit my works to him, I heard.. (I swear! I really hear he said..)

This post need to be started from the way I walked to get the car from the office... I walk slow..looking at the just-built '3 Bowls' fountain in front of the main entrance of Pavillion. Look at the sky, I already knew that I want to have a new post to jot down my 4 weeks working life.

This time I took out my earphones and listened to the music stored in my w800i. I never deleted those songs, they accompanied me when I was sitting in the Perpustakaan Sultanah Bahiya to fight for my final semester exam. Those songs bring me back to my life in Katdah. At the same time, I am thinking some friends who are doing they final semester, wonder how are they doing... and also friends who are doing their internship. Lastly, for friends who are working, I guess... we are feeling the same...

4 weeks. 1 month already past. I have started my first career for 1 month. I can't believe my 1 month is just past, like that was just yesterday I started my job.

I did face a lot stress from my manager. The way he train me is wants me to learn from my mistake, due to this technique is not so suit me so.. I feel like I am useless in the company. In a day, I face a lot failure.. I can't help, I give him a lot troubles because he need to check on my works and correct it for me... By the way, he actually knows where is my mistake. Because those job he hands to me, he notice that for my level (means for my understanding for the company operations), is hardly to accomplish it. So, I always fall in his trap. Even though he is so busy, but everyday before I go back, he will give me at least 30 minutes lesson..

He: I feel that you are not serious!
me: HAH??!! me? not serious? many people comment that I look very serious...
He: Through the way you walk and talk.. When you walk off, you looked like 'YES!! I have passed another round!'
me: Next time I will try to hide the feeling from you...

3 weeks past. I have too much to say about my job...
Which is... I never do anything right so far.it is true.. My boss always throw me tasks and want to challenge me, he wants me to complete or get the answer within a given time frame. Then I am like a lost person and running up and down to find the people from different department for information. When I show him my work, I have never done anything right....never. For example....

He wanted me to figure out and prove to him the sum assured is right or wrong. If it is wrong, he wants to correct way and present in excel form. Time given is 1 hour.
After 2 hours, I still cannot get the answer.. I knew that I can't present him with a empty hand. So I simply come out my own sum assured table and show him. Of cause the answer from him is wrong wrong wrong! I have got used to it. The feeling of failure is already normal for me. Then after the lunch time, I back to my desk and want to go through the case again and find out what is happening in the case.
Another 2 hours past, finally I got some idea why that happens in that way. I do do do... This time I was very sure I am right! I present it in excel and print it out. I thought at last I can show some result to him. I go to him with full of confident (The Final Countdown song play in my heart). Of cause I apologized for the late submission. He look at it....say..
he: this is wrong.
me: wrong? WHY??!!! How you calculate it? Maybe you don't understand my way to get the answer. I managed get the 2 plans right, why the 3rd one is wrong? The same formula to get the answer.
him: How old is he? 30+40 equals to what?
me: (heart: damn!! I refer to the 80 year-old chart).. 70. my mistake..
him: this is not just about meeting the deadline, it is ACCURACY!
me: (heart broken).......*silent*.....

Everyday I am working under pressure.
He told me I will feel the real pressure starts in the 5th week. This is nothing...

Today we went back to Sentosa. I am happy to meet them.. but not everyone was in the picture. Hope there are more people will take part in the next gathering. Looking forward to meet some long-lost friends.

I have just signed out my msn. I really can't have it on when I am blogging.

Back to yesterday, I was really tired after I get back from work. My eyes were in a line. My mom came to me and keep on asking me how's my first day, I entertained her with showing her my office pass and she look at it..................*silent*................
she: Ok!! Tomorrow buy this 4 numbers!

What I do in the office. You can try to take out your mom's insurance policies and look at it. I bet most of the people will only check on their name and details to confirm it is correct. I need to go through 10+ different policies and really look into it, understand and memorise as many as possible. Actually I am not busy in the office, because I can't help. My boss want me to ask him if I have any questions, but his phone is keep on ringing.. and walking up and down to meet the department people. So, I need to find out the answers by my own.
My job scope is: to help my manager.
Today he told me: Never accept No as an answer.
So from his statement, we got to know that I cannot say No to him. It is so so so challenging.

Now.. In my mind, for the person who has left the school, to show that are they smart (in my hometown, I called it as 'geng!)... It is measured by how much $$ they bring in to their family. How they change their life (I mean to a better one), change their thinking (to a more mature and considerate) and contribute to the society. Before this I am quite down, it is because the company did not offer me my expected salary. But in the end, I still accepted the offer. This is because I knew that me and my manager is the same type of person. Why I said that..........
That day, before I leave for the interview. My brother told me about some problems cannot be solved. He keep on telling me all the problems then I stopped him. ..
me: Don't only tell me all the problems, I knew that too. I want you to tell me the solution or alternative to solve it.
During the interview.. the interviewer said the same thing that I told my brother before I leave the house. That's why I knew that he will be a very 'susah layan' person, just same like me.
I am learning.. I am learning how to control my emotion. I read this: If you want to be happy, make your surrounding people happy. I think this is very true. And the most valuable asset is your mind. So, invest in your mind is the only investment with low risk and high return.

Back to I said I am down. This few days, I am seeking for an answer to make myself feel better even though they offered me below my expected...
In my life, there are a few people always give me precious opinion. I always look for certain people when I am at the crossroads. This person had given me some important info this time, make me feel better and not to focus too much on the salary (not focus on salary, then focus on wat??!!). Focus on something money can't buy.

Tired.. very tired. I am so tired. Interview is so tiring.

I just had my second phone interview. Not yet over, I need to go for the 3rd round interview.

My dad ask me not to rush.
I wondered: This time he is so different, in the past, every time before the semester break starts, he will ask me go to look for jobs.
My family is very different, they don't like their child to stay at home. We are forced to go out.
At last, I understood his purpose, he wants me to get the job I really want. It is because he afraid me will quit 1 or 2 months later.
But I can't wait to obtain my first job..I am so excited to know where I will landed myself...

My mental was seriously attacked, the pain is still remain there.

I just came back from an interview, this time was XXXX. Yesterday I received the email asked me to attend today's interview. The position they offer me is Life Sales Executive.
What's come to your mind? Insurance agent?? A personnel who is doing sales??
I gave it a guess, the position they offer me is something to generate sales for the company, which I prayed hard I guess it wrongly.
Before I leave my house, I told my mom: 'aihh..answering the same questions again..My name is Shing M.C...I am graduated from.........'
Total, I attended 3 interview so far, and this is the 4th one. The previous 3 interviews they wanted me to start with introduce myself. So, now, I can even say it in my dreams. This time was totally different...

me: Do I need to show you my transcript?
he: No, you keep it to yourself.

he: If there are 10 people, 9 of them are foreign graduates. Why should I take you?
me: (thinking: Damn!!! I really hate this kind of questions) They might be have much exposure than me but I don't think they must be better than me.

he: What is your aspiration?
me: (thinking: aspiration?? what is aspiration?? Gosh..die.) Me....bla bla bla bla..... Did I answer your questions?
he: NO!

he: What do u know about insurance industry?
me: (thinking: oooooOOOooooo) Selling protection...bla ..bla bla..bla...............

he: To become an agent, doesn't need to be interviewed, you can just walk in to the agancy and fill in the forms and pass the exam.

At Pavilion now. Just finished my 1 hour interview in HLA building. What makes me feel bad during the interview is..... the application form.

There are a lot to fill in, some even require you to write essays. Gosh!!! But no choice.

How's the interview? This time I really study on the company background but the interviewer never ask me related on the company. They are more interested on me....

10 days past.

It have been already 10 days from an undergraduate to a graduated. My job at home is doing spam. My parents did not give me pressure on this. My sister is very supportive, always gives me advice and sent me to the place of interview. My brother, his ears are the most valuable thing to me. Sending my resume to potential companies, hope to get reply a.s.a.p.

For some of my friends are doing industrial training, they start their training. I did not choose it. What is the advantage of doing industrial training is you do not need to waste your time on hunting for job. After graduate, you might be can continue with the company. The main reason I did not choose it is because I afraid during the 4 months, I fight with my supervisor then I cannot graduate or my result will be pulled down by my Industrial Training performance. If give me another chance, I will not choose industrial training also.

So far, I just attended 1 interview, it was with CIMB. I don't think I did well during the interview. The interviewer thrown out diverse questions to test me. I did not do well when related to the company background, I did not prepare well. Because that time I just came back to Genting. She told me, if those pass the first round, they will inform within this week then got IQ test and business presentation..sigh.. No chance.

Tomorrow gonna attend for another one, HLA. This time cannot chin chai, gonna do more preparation. Wish me luck ba..

We have fulfilled our 115 credit hours in these 3 years time.

For my course, we are required to attend 115 hours class in order to graduated with the title BRMI(Hons). 29.04.09 was the day they sat for the last exam. Because I took 1 more extra paper, French II, so I need to wait until 7 May. This time, most of my course mates are left and started to hunt for jobs. I am always be the one to send-off my friends and then only I leave.

What I brought into the examination hall: Tissue, pencil case, bottle n purse.

Left 14 days I ~~will~~ need to leave this place. I feel very heavy of leaving here. The major reason is not because of afraid can't get a good job, is....(15 minutes passed).
I failed to write what actually makes me have that feeling. There are too many things... Not only my friends here.. but also my room, the scenery, everything.... I love to describe my life here is 'on holiday'. I guess that is the reason why I always get sick every time I back home.
Back to 3 years before, I came here with the feeling of fulfilling my parents wishes. Got no interest in UUM, and don't know where this place is.. I even told myself that I came here to study but not knowing friends. So, I treat everyone with no difference..
Until.. I met them. They treat me in the way that I can feel that 'they are true'. Finally I got to understand how important friends are when you are far away from your house. I am so lucky to have so many good and helpful friends accompanied me in this 3 years. We have done a lot of things together, created a lot memorable pictures in our mind..
The 2 most important person are my very-good course mate, I have them together with me during this 3 years, it makes my Uni life full of colors. In these 3 years, we always helped each other in anything, and while having fun, normally we failed to noticed there are people around.
Besides both of them, these are the people together with me along the way I grow up..

I made this calender in a pocket size, easier for us to check whose birthday is coming. Everyone got 1. This semester, I told people I am so busy, but not busy with studies, I always busy with editing videos, pictures and so on. I enjoy doing all this.. :)

Lastly, wherever you go, no matter what the weather, always bring your own sunshine.

The night we planned since last semester, finally it turned to be true on last Saturday (28.3.2009), it was just like a dream. Everyone was looked so great and elegance after putting some efforts to transform from a simple to 'complex'. This is our night before we spread our wings to fly high...
A few of us take the responsibilities as the committee members and in charge from A-Z. The whole process was really tiring.... But the satisfaction is come from the faces of all our friends, I guess they were really enjoy the night. I told myself that was the last gift that I can give to my uni gang; a sweet memories.

Don't know why there was a strong feeling wanted to write something in my blog yesterday. But due to the the internet connection is super weak, so I postpone it to today.
Yesterday I was so happy, just because a presentation was over. We were the first group, so a bit pressure. After the presentation, I was terribily happy because my need-to-do list is shorter. This few week I am so busy. Three days before this, I have a mid sem test, 2 days after that I got a presentation. Now, this coming Friday I have another mid sem test and a seminar organised by me and my coursemates, then the night on the same day I am going back to KL. Saturday I am going to meet them, at night I need to meet my Uni friend. Sunday night, coming back to Katdah. I only back home for 2 days. 16 March, Monday, I have my French presentation, at night I will be attending a dinner. I will be release from all these is after the 16 March.
Two weeks before, my handphone was fall into the toilet bowl, my laptop kena lock, my calculus test 1 got a terrible result... I think these are the down that I faced...
I picked up my phone, I tought it was drown, who knows it recovered by itself just like that..
My laptop, I always depend on ShengCui to reformat for me, but this time he is 500km from me, so I decided to reformat my laptop by myself. Things that I feel proud of myself is I manage to do it..hohoh!
My calculus result, I have lost 8 marks over 100. This means that I only can lost another 7 marks in all my quizes, mid sem II and my final exam..mission impossible. But I still will do my best.
My final exam timetable is out, my last paper is on 7 May, 4pm-6pm. My 2 very good coursemates will end their UUM life on 29 April (my last paper is Francais). So, I can foresee I will cry like mad when seeing them leave UUM... This time I am going back home, I must bring along my camera back to Katdah... Most of the picture I took using my w800i, I still need to capture a lot scenes in UUM..
I think I gonna back room to study for my next paper, calculus test II, no mistake can be make during the exam!! hahaha..

I never heard about chap goh mei until I enter UUM. They were so shock that I don't know what is that means. I believe there are a lot Cantonese no idea what is that means also. Chap Goh Mei: I think is the last day of CNY..
I am sitting in my college cafe. It is so hot here.. Due to I have terminated my broadband, so I have to carry my 3kg laptop come here to online.

So fast, the 15 days of 'goh lin' is going to the end. During these 15 days, the unhappy>happy. Whatever it is, we should look forward and always believe there is a better tomorrow. I hope all my friends (you) will face everything with a positive mindset.

Last 2 semesters, I did not take up any projects, did not involve myself in any activities, I do not want them caused me headache because of all the people-between-people issues. But yesterday, my lecturer apointed me to conduct the session of committee election. Unfortunately, most of the people, included me has misunderstood what she means. I thought she wanted me to lead the group people to organised the seminar. Gosh!!! I rejected immediately and very fast give her a candidate to excape from taking up any responsibilities.
The candidate I recommended is the our group leader and she insisted me to be her assistant. I cannot excape from that.
While I when back to my room, I think....
Why am I so afraid/worry/scare/panic/nervous/紧张??!!
The sucess seminar will affect the result of one of our paper. I afraid is because I scare the projects will fail and effected the whole group. But since I have accepted the post, I will try to do it 'pong pong sen'=good!

Come to the last day of the year. Great to sit in the library to send last post of 2008.

Every year begins and ends.. People will ask (one the if person is my sister, she loves to ask my brother and I): What is your resolutions?

To be frank, I don't really know what resolutions means?

I just checked the Wikipedia:-

A New Year's Resolution is a commitment that an individual makes to a project or the reforming of a habit, often a lifestyle change that is generally interpreted as advantageous. The name comes from the fact that these commitments normally go into effect on New Year's Day and remain until fulfilled or abandoned. More socio-centric examples include resolutions to donate to the poor more often, to become more assertive, or to become more economically or environmentally responsible. People may act similarly during the Christian fasting period of Lent, though the motive behind this holiday is more of sacrifice than of responsibility. The new year resolution is one example of the rolling forecast-method of planning. According to this method, plans are established at regular short or medium-term time intervals, when only a rough long-term plan exists.

Then I think I know better what is resolutions. Before this I have the thoughts that resolution is just similiar to target, goal and bla bla.

So what is my resolutions then??

Control my emotions, not to spread my bad mood to the people around me.
Put more attentions in my dressing and appearance, no more enter Dragon-i MV with the t-shirt I wear in my house (UUM t-shirt + Forest short pants)
Smile always (Pn. Anna Tan said to me: You still look ~~cool~~ serious like last time)
No delay!!! Finish what I need to finish a.s.a.p.
No late for appointment or meetings.

For 2009, these 5, of course I still have a lot to improve, that will be leave it to 2010.

My goals??

For the first half year: Break my 3.5 CGPA and obtain a job before I finish my degree.
For the remaining half year: I can be financial independence.

Not to make my goals too complicated... Next year I will check this again, see whether do I success to plan for my 2009.

I'm going to Langkawi with friends tonight, to celebrate our New Year Eve. hurray!!!!\

Sitting on the tract after 1000m jogging+walking (walking>jogging)

Sitting out side my residential college office to online. I terminated the celcom broadband. Why??!! If it is good, I won't terminated it. So from now on, I think I need to always carry my laptop to the library to surf the www.
I am taking the last 4 papers in order for me to graduate with honour. That were tough, but I think, it is still easier compare with the challenges that I will face in working life. So I will enjoy my last semester and capture more more pictures. :)

Long long time never go for jungle tracking. When my holiday just started, YenLing invited us to join their trip to Cameron Highland. Since I got nothing to do, I just promised her.
After a few days, Kaban asked...

After a long long wait. The results are finally out.
My first sight on the results, what caught my attention was my.... Reinsurance, 'BBBBBBB------=2.67'
I did prepare myself for the bad case that I might be faced. But I never know the bad I expect goes to the worst. B-, is the lowest grade that I have ever got during my 2.5 years in UUM. One of my principle: You get what you give. Maybe I gave not enough to obtain at least a B.
Besides Reinsurance, other papers were not bad.. Expecially my Actuarial
Science, I tiru in the mid sem test and caught by the lecturer, I copied friend's answer for all the quizes, I busy talking in the class and I worked hard during the final exam, and at last, I got a 4 for it. Another one is my BM Translation, we need to translate it from BM to English. Before that, I know that was tough. My BM no good, English lagi tak payah cakap. But I am so lucky to get a 3.67, for me, that is a bonus.
So, if my reinsurance not 2.67, my results are prefect.
Maybe: nothing is perfect, I am not prefect, my results are imprefect.

Afternoon, went to MidValley to meet a long-long-time-no-see friend, Tan Sue Li..
Evening, went to Desa Petaling to meet a long-time-no-visit person, my grandma, my mama's mama. Bought her a X'mas present.
